New to Lutheran Community of Grace?
Dear friend, and fellow sojourner in this earthly life,
Grace and peace to you that comes from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
We invite you to join us:
Come pray with us in an informal setting on a Tuesday evening;
Come to one of our educational forums on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am;
Come worship with us Sunday at 9:30 am.
We are a small mission congregation, preaching and teaching only what is true and pure gospel, Scripture our guiding force of authority. We worship in an orderly, yet casual, setting with time–tested meaning in every step of the way. We are not swayed by, nor do we chase after popular worship “fads” or cultural “trends” contrary to God’s Word. Our message is “the word of the cross—foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinithians 1:18) We “know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.”
Our preaching and teachings are “not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstrations of the Spirit and of power—so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)
We carry a great burden for the unsaved people in our community and we pass on our Christian faith to our children. We pray that the Lord will send forth more workers our way for the harvest. Are you willing to be among them? Will you join us in making disciples one soul at a time—a child, an adult, or an un-churched neighbor of yours, a friend, an associate at work? God’s Kingdom grows with each new member brought to Him.
Christ’s church needs you! We have the framework and organizational structure in which to work. A great opportunity to follow Christ’s great commission awaits you. With ample workers we can greatly influence our community for God.
Pray for God’s guidance in joining us in our efforts, freely accomplished through us only because of the salvation gifted to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
